Through the looking glass

Wearable technology, particularly Google Glass, was the buzz of the communications world last year as these devices entered the mainstream and more manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon.

In the last month alone, Google Glass has gone on sale in the UK, and Apple is set to announce its first foray into the iWatch game. However, wearable tech isn’t just a gimmick or a reserve of those with bottomless pockets, I truly believe that these devices will become commonplace and an essential tool in the communications sector in the next three years.

And its not just us in the PR/Marketing/Advertising world who want these products, conumers demand is already growing fast:
